There is something special about traveling with a group of women who share a passion for beauty, wellness, culture, and connection. Our recent Morari Social Club getaway to Seoul was created specifically for women in the beauty industry and co-hosted with Candace Marino, the owner of The LA Facialist.
Our goal was to experience Seoul through the lens of beauty while also immersing ourselves in the city’s food, traditions, and culture. From Korean skincare and beauty treatments to traditional temples, street food, and behind-the-scenes access to one of Korea’s most exciting beauty brands, every day offered something completely different.
Six days, one incredible city, a group of women passionate about beauty, and so many unforgettable experiences along the way.

Arriving in Seoul
After everyone arrived and settled into their rooms at the Four Seasons Seoul, they were welcomed with a little surprise. Each room had been thoughtfully decorated with gifts placed around every corner, creating a fun welcome experience from the moment everyone walked through the door.
Since everyone had such long flights to get to Seoul, we thought there was no better way to spend our first evening than with a cozy face mask and pajama party.
Everyone changed into their matching pajamas and gathered in our suite for a cozy welcome night featuring Korean food, including beef bulgogi, and face mask kits from C02 Lift Pro.
It was the perfect first night. No pressure, no packed itinerary, just good food, skincare, matching pajamas, and a room full of women getting to know one another.
Stepping Into Seoul’s History
Our first full day in Seoul took us into the heart of the city’s history and culture.
We started by getting dressed in traditional Korean hanbok before heading to the temple and palace area. Walking through Seoul in traditional dress was such a fun way to experience the city and gave everyone the chance to immerse themselves in one of Korea’s most recognizable traditions.
From there, we explored one of Seoul’s traditional villages, wandering through the historic streets and taking in the architecture and local shops.
After spending the day exploring Seoul at street level, we headed to Seoul Tower to see the city from above. The panoramic views gave us a completely different perspective of just how expansive Seoul really is.
It was the perfect way to end our first full day in the city.

A Taste of Seoul
The next day was dedicated to one of our favorite parts of traveling: food.
We started the morning with a Korean cooking class, where we learned how to make kimbap from scratch.
There was something especially fun about getting into the kitchen together, learning the techniques, assembling our own kimbap, and then sitting down to enjoy what we had made.
From there, we headed to one of Seoul’s bustling food markets for a street food experience.
We wandered through the market, sampling different Korean specialties and trying as many things as we could along the way. With so many stalls and dishes to choose from, it quickly became one of those afternoons where everyone wanted to try “just one more thing.”

Finding Your Colors
We continued our beauty-focused experiences with a personal color analysis.
For a group of beauty experts, getting to experience Korean beauty culture firsthand was especially exciting, and the color analysis gave everyone the opportunity to learn more about the tones and shades that complemented their individual features.
It was another experience that felt uniquely Korean and gave everyone something personal to take away from the trip.
The Korean Beauty Experience
The following day was all about experiencing Korean beauty firsthand.
We started with Korean-style facials, giving everyone the chance to experience the skincare rituals and techniques that have made Korean beauty so influential around the world.
We also spent time at a Korean head spa, where everyone received a scalp analysis followed by a relaxing hair treatment and blowout.
For a group of professional estheticians, this was particularly special. We weren’t just experiencing these treatments as travelers. We were experiencing them as beauty professionals who could appreciate the techniques, products, and rituals behind them.
It was the ultimate beauty day and exactly the kind of experience we hoped to create when we designed this getaway.
Behind the Brand at Biodance
Our final full day took us behind the scenes of the Korean beauty industry.
We visited Biodance’s headquarters, where we had the opportunity to meet with the founder and learn more about the story behind the brand, its products, and the vision that brought it to life.
Getting to hear directly from the founder and learn about the company beyond what we see on a shelf was such a unique experience.
It gave us the opportunity to ask questions, learn more about the products they work with and recommend, and get a deeper understanding of the Korean beauty industry from the inside.
More Than a Beauty Trip
What made this Seoul getaway so special was that it was never just about beauty.
Yes, we spent time experiencing Korean facials, head spas, color analysis, skincare, and learning directly from a Korean beauty brand. But we also ate our way through Seoul, dressed in hanbok, explored historic neighborhoods, visited temples, made kimbap, tried street food, and saw the city from above.
And we got to experience all of it alongside women who shared the same passion for beauty and skincare.
Co-hosting the trip with Candace , made the experience even more meaningful. Candace brought her own expertise and perspective as an esthetician, while Morari Social Club brought together the women and created the experiences around them.
That combination made the trip feel less like a traditional vacation and more like a community built around a shared passion.
We left Seoul with new beauty knowledge, plenty of inspiration, full stomachs, countless photos, and friendships that extended far beyond the trip.
Seoul gave us the perfect mix of beauty, culture, food, and connection, and we couldn’t have asked for a better group of women to experience it with.
